The Langham Place is located in the Airport and can be a good choice if you want just to stay in the Airport Area (note that the airport is not that close to the city "center". Swissôtel

Swissôtel Beijing is one of the more established hotels in the city smart, clean efficient, good food, conservative and reliable...it is Swiss after all! A five star hotel located at the intersection of the central area of the city (the lovely hutongs and remnants of old Beijing) diplomatic area, and the Sanlitun bar restaurant and nightlife district. Out of rush hour you can pop in a taxi and be at our office in 10 minutes (20 minutes if on foot), and take a taxi to the Airport (about 45 minutes). Good news is you are just a few steps from the subway station where you can join the 'lao bai xing' (the old one hundred ie the common people) for easy access to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Central Railway Station etc. The traffic in Beijing is terrible so it is very handy to have the metro on your
doorstep.
