Sat 21st April

AM: Bus from office to Airport
PM: Departure with Air Koryo flight JS152 Beijing – Pyongyang

from PEK, Terminal 2 at 13:00 , arrive in Pyongyang at 16:25.

Meet guides who will accompany you during your stay,

Sun 22nd April

AM: Kumsusan Memorial Palace- Mausoleum where President

Kim Il Sung lies in state, Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery -

bronze busts of the Koreanswhodied fighting the Japanese

occupation, Kim Il Sung Square - Pyongyang’s largest square

in the heart of the city
PM: Mansudae Grand Monument (Giant Statue of President

Kim Il Sung), Fountain Park, Moranbong Park (to mingle with the

locals), Kimilsungia Festival (exhibition of flowers named after the late leader)
OVERNIGHT: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Mon 23rd April

AM: Mangyongdae Native House (birthplace of Kim Il Sung),

Pyongyang Metro (extended ride on the world’s deepest

underground system), Juche Tower (panoramic views of Pyongyang

from 150m up), Monument to Party Foundation - commemorates

the 50 years of Workers' Party rule
PM: Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum (Korean War Museum) - hear and see the DPRK version of the conflict, Pyongyang Golden Lane (ten pin bowling alley, great for mixing with the citizenry), Foreign Languages Bookshop, Drive to Nampo, Nampo West Sea Barrage (8km long dam\ seperating the Taedong river from the West Sea of Korea)

Tues 24th April

AM: Chollima Steel Works - New for 2012! Tae'an Heavy Machine Tool Complex, Tae'an Glass Factory, Mt. Ryonggak for picnic lunch
PM: Brief hike in the mountains (not-too-strenuous walk in this

popular picnic and day-tripping spot with the locals), Return to

Pyongyang, Schoolchildren’s Palace tour and performance,

Paradise micro-brewery (try the local brew)
OVERNIGHT: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Wed 25th April

AM: Foundation Day of the Korean People's Army

Drive to Kaesong, (2.5hours) Panmunjom/DMZ (the demarcation line between North and South Korea), Koryo Museum (relics of the ancient city), Local park and pavilions
PM: return to Pyongyang (2.5 hours), expected mass dance to celebrate the holiday, Kaeson Youth funfair (best evening entertainment in the city!)
OVERNIGHT: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Thurs 26th April

AM: 10:10 Train departs from Pyongyang for China / 10:30 Air Koryo flight departs for Beijing (arrives Beijing approx 11:30am)
PM: Cross border at Sinuiju/Dandong, those visiting Dandong alight here, train continues to Beijing
OVERNIGHT: On train

Fri 27th April

AM: 08:34 Arrival at Beijing Central Railway Station. End of Tour

TOUR FEE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

Flight Beijing-Pyongyang, flight/train Pyongyang-Beijing
All meals on the tour except on the train out of DPRK – see below
Hotel accommodation
All entry fees
Two guides and a driver per group
All transportation in DPRK

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR FEE:

Optional single room supplement of EUR 40 per night
Spending money for drinks and souvenirs
DPRK visa fee CNY 500
EUR 50 surcharge for the train to Beijing or EUR 50 surcharge for the plane to Beijing
Tip for the guides (approx EUR 20-25 total)
Meals on the train out of DPRK - (bring your own food or eat dinner and lunch in the buffet car approximately EUR 5 per person)
Entry tickets for Mass Games and special events if applicable – for example Revolutionary Opera if being staged, or a visit to the funfair
The lift up the Juche Tower EUR 5
